Kings Cross Tube Station
Howe Green’s 7500 series stainless steel access covers were chosen to provide safe and unobtrusive access to essential floor based building services at Kings Cross Underground including ventilation, ducting, electrics, communication cables and rail services. In this challenging environment access panels that offered fire resistance along with the ability to withstand massive amounts of foot traffic were required.
The Madeley Academy
The Madeley Academy, an independent secondary school based in the historic mining town of Madeley in Telford, has recently moved to a stylish new building. A 900 place 11-16 academy with Sports College status the building features a range of specialist facilities including a large fitness centre, full size gym and suite of training rooms.
Cribbs Causeway
Cribbs Causeway in Bristol is the premier shopping destination in the South West of Britain. With over 135 top name stores, 18 cafes and restaurants, the Mall provides over 995,000 square feet of retail and leisure space. Howe Green installed its 7500 series aluminum floor access covers which are tamper resistant and heavy duty, providing the maintenance team with quick, easy and safe access to the concealed mechanical equipment.
National Waterfront Museum - Swansea
The multi-million pound National Waterfront Museum in Swansea is one of the top attractions in Wales, taking visitors on a historical journey through the industrial revolution, looking at the impact it had on the nation and its people. Howe Green installed its 7500 series floor access covers which provide a heavy duty and tamper-resistant access solution that is both practical for the heavy pedestrian traffic, and aesthetically pleasing, making it ideal for the public facing location in the museum.
Hotel du Vin
For residents and non-residents alike, Hotel du Vin’s French Bistro is one of Cambridge’s culinary focal points. Proudly showcasing the hotel chain’s first open view style kitchen, it was paramount that essential services were hidden from public view. Howe Green installed nine aluminum 5000 series floor access covers to blend seamlessly into the hard floor finish and provide easy and instant access for vital maintenance.
Lee Valley Athletics Centre - Enfield
Howe Green’s 7500 series aluminum access covers were chosen to provide safe and unobtrusive access to essential floor based building services located throughout the £16 million Lee Valley Athletics Centre located in Enfield, North London - a major new training venue for the capital and the South East complex.
Queen’s Hospital - Romford
Over 200 Visedge floor panels were supplied by Howe Green for Romford’s new state-of-the-art 939-bed Queen’s Hospital, to provide easy – yet tamper-proof – access to vital underfloor services. With the hospital floors set to be subject to heavy foot traffic from millions of annual visitors, patients and medical staff, a heavy duty and tamper-resistant access solution was required. Such floor panels enable essential access to concealed pipes and cables, as well as vital building services including IT, heating and water supply.
Ricoh Arena - Coventry
Howe Green installed the floor access solution to Coventry City Football Club’s award winning Ricoh Arena. Howe Green's 7500 series floor access covers were the natural choice to reach under floor services carrying water, drainage, electricity and data to internal and external leisure amenities. In particular, staff need to carry out regular checks on under soil heating, sprinkler systems and floodlighting.
